While the band is often described as post-rock, their sound is more of a compromise between the two. Songs are not bound by verse-chorus convention, but drift lazily, guided by a light melody. The guitars and varied percussion together with numerous (and frequently spacey) electronic additions weave a sound that, while complex, flows very evenly. Otsubo Kana’s wispy vocals contribute an organic piece to the melody as well, while adding to the relaxed atmosphere." - via last.fm -their website- they have always been a favourite of mine. for a really long time now. not their best release but still good. this is a new album with rearranged old songs of them, focused mainly on the piano. >>D/L<< Labels: beautiful, calm, pleasant, soft vocals 0 comments / +show うたびこ(utabiko) / 青葉市子(aoba ichiko) posted on April 29, 2012 at 8:04 PM 01.
