Death is not the end released: 2009 type: Album/CD label: Tutl genre: new age?, singer-songwriter, female vocalists, folk?, ... (really difficult to describe) origin: Faroer Islands languages: icelandic, english, faroese, (more?) notes: ok this was really really hard to get, so all hardcore Eivør fans will love me for this, as they know Eivør files are not really present in the internet. Her Itunes says "Eivør Live" so I tagged it as that but "Eivör Live" obiously is written on the cover so..decide for yourself I guess.. about the album: " In the booklet she explains it like this: Many of the concerts that I have played across the world have been recorded and as time has gone by, more and more material has been added to my collection of live recordings, which by now is relatively substantial. For this reason I would like to share some of these recordings with you. I have handpicked some of my favorite recordings from all of this material. This collection is a combination of songs written by me, songs written by good friends and songs that have inspired me in other ways and it includes recordings from Japan, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. My career to this point of my life has been like a journey through a big ocean of music. I am grateful to all the people I have met on this journey who have helped me to move deeper into this ocean. Some of these people feature on this album, but unfortunately I do not have recordings from all of these wonderful encounters. I hope you enjoy this little collection from my past, and I look forward to performing my new and somewhat different material to you in the nearby future. " - via tutl.com about eivør: " Eivør grew up in Gøta, a little village, in the remote Faroe Islands. All her life Eivør has felt the urge to create and perform. At the age of fifteen the young hopeful girl left school in order to dedicate all of her time to what she loved doing – writing music. Much has changed since then. Eleven years on, five solo albums and numerous awards later, she is now a mature and experienced artist, and has become one of the brightest stars on the North Atlantic horizon. She has amazed and astonished audiences across the world with her extraordinary music and charisma. However in essence Eivør is still the same Eivør; driven by her passion for music, she is deeply rooted in her homeland’s strong heritage. What makes her so special is not just her inspiring and breathtaking voice, but the fact that she is an all-round artist – a painter, storyteller, poet and composer. All this creative energy combines into a spellbinding and remarkable expression on stage, which has the ability to touch the innermost and unexplored emotions in its audiences." - via tutl.com ‡‡dl‡‡ I would be endlessly thankful to those who give me (us) proper translations & info about this album!! if you know any icelandic, danish, faroese, etc contact me ↓ Labels: addictive, amazing, amazing vocals, I love her T_T, inspires me, like like like, soulful 0 comments / +show 山崎ハコ ゴールデン☆ベスト / 山崎ハコ (yamsaki hako) posted on December 25, 2011 at 1:00 PM 山崎ハコ ゴールデン☆ベスト YAMASAKI HAKO GOLDEN☆BEST DISK 1 01. 気分を変えて 02. サヨナラの鐘 03. 幻想旅行 04. ララバイ横須賀 05. 港 OUT 06. 私の幸せ (Live) genre: folk, singer-songwriter, female vocalists orgin: hita/japan languages: japanese, english dl Labels: amazing vocals, HAKO, lively, strong 0 comments / +show 久遠の河 / alan posted on December 23, 2011 at 12:00 AM 01. 久遠の河 [Kuon no Kawa/"River of Eternity"] * 02. 赤壁 〜大江東去〜 [Chi Bi 〜Da Jiang Dong Qu〜/"Red Cliff 〜Great River Gone East〜"] 03.
