Ｔａｉｍｓｅ ｉｍ’ ｃｈｏｄｈｌａｄｈ released: 2008 type: Album/CD label: Victor Entertainment / Wasabi Records genre: female vocalists, traditional?, celtic, folk origin: japan languages: irish, japanese, english about the album: "Of the songs included in the album, five are covers and three are original Kokia songs. Of the covers, three are traditional Celtic songs ("Black Is the Color," "Siúil A Rúin" and "Taimse im' Chodladh"). "Taimse im' Chodladh" and the chorus of "Siúil A Rúin" are sung in Irish. Two songs are Japanese kayōkyoku standards: "Soshū Yakyoku" (from the 1940 film Shina no Yoru) and "Kanashikute Yarikirenai" (originally by The Folk Crusaders in (1968)). Of the three original compositions, two were composed specifically for the album ("Lydia (Fairy Dance)" and "Sono Mama de Ii (Be As You Are)"). "Song of Pocchong (Shizuku no Uta)" (ｓｏｎｇ ｏｆ ｐｏｃｃｈｏｎｇ～雫の歌 Song of a Drop of Water) is a rearranged version of the same song from Kokia's previous album, The Voice. It is slightly longer, and the kanji in the song's title is different (歌 for uta (song), instead of 唄)." - via wikipedia ^°DL°^ Labels: catchy melodies, fairy, long time favourites, lyrical, magical, so nice to listen to 0 comments / +show 灰色とわたし / 湯川潮音 (yukawa shione) posted on May 05, 2012 at 4:21 PM 01. 風よ吹かないで 02. 見つめてごらん 03. 秘密 04. しずくのカーテン 05. シェルブールの雨 06. 明日になれば 07. 恋は月をめざして (Voyage of the Moon) 08. 朝が終わる前の花 09. 巻き貝とわたし 10. キャロル released: 2008 type: Album/CD label: EMI Music Japan & Capitol Records genre: singer-songwriter, folk/pop, female vocalists origin: japan languages: japanese, english -her website- I'd really recommend you checking her out if you had liked Aoba Ichiko, Hiraga Sachie or Harada Ikuko. or any sweet korean indie. ~~.dl.~~ "恋は朝に" PV " I’ve been looping this all day. it is fucking fantastic music in general but also good for these rainy days. what it is: folky guitar driven girl vocals in Japanese. yes i know that sounds so overdone but just have a listen. it’s like having a holiday in the middle of the week. it’s like hitchhiking in spring with white cloudy skies and bicycles condensed into music. probably +10 if you know Japanese. " - via heroin-e She easily became a favourite of mine. Easily changing my mood to a brighter one. I feel so grateful to her and her music, that it even exists out there! Every time I start playing one of her songs I begin to hop around and smile. a immense motivation pill I think. God I love her for giving me warm feelings for the day :))) thank you sachie!
