"Opening with a interesting and spare song--a take on a Poe poem--"Annabel Lee", 어른아이 immediately sets the tone for a series of reflective songs. Fortunately, the songs get a variety of sounds with differing instrumentation, tempos, and the coming and going of electronics, but it's held together by 황보라's breathy vocals and consistent acoustic guitar work. Outside of the drawing power of "Annabel Lee", the album doesn't really have any solid singles, but I find pretty much each track interesting, with the light electronic flourishes on "민들레" sticking in my head as an interesting echo to 황보라's vocals.
